Commercial Property Inspection Services
Calibre Inspection Services has extensive experience, understanding, and training in the field of building inspections. We can assist in finding the sources of water infiltration, defects in construction, and other building issues. Our commercial inspection team will evaluate the condition of the property and structure, and any systems affecting its use. Our report will clearly document the building’s physical condition and specify items that may require major repair or replacement.
Property Condition Assessment
The inspection requires 4 to 8 hours to perform depending on the size of the structure, and the Property Condition Assessment (PCA) report is made available within 2 to 3 business days after the inspection. Our reports include digital images documenting the condition of the property as well as any recommended repairs or upgrades. The PCA can include a cost estimate to implement the recommendations in the report if so required.
Whether you are a building owner, property manager, leasing agent, lender or tenant, you can depend on Calibre Building and Home Inspections to document the state of the property thus allowing you to make sound decisions. Our inspectors are trained professionals that can assess the conditions of the systems and components of a commercial building.

Thermal Imaging for Commercial Property
We use FLIR Systems B360 cameras for superior imagery on all our commercial inspections.
Building anomalies are easily detected by non-invasive means and problem areas are accurately diagnosed. Invasive measures are usually not required when using thermal diagnostics measures.
ASTM 2018 Standards
Our commercial property inspections start with a baseline property condition assessment as defined in the ASTM E-2018 standards – (08 Guide for Property Condition Assessments). These are the standards used worldwide for PCA’s used to observe and report, to the extent feasible, on the physical condition of the subject property and consists of:

Thermal image of an office building identifying energy loss.

Thermal image of a metal roof indicating moisture penetration.

Thermal images show moisture intrusion behind the siding.
Clearly, the value of conducting a thermal imaging scan on any property is immeasurable. A picture is worth 1000 words and “if your property inspector is not providing you with thermal imaging, you’re not getting the whole picture”. (Tag used with permission by Mr. Jeff Pope)
